The 2019 National Administrative Law Conference was held on Thursday 18 July 2019 at 1.00pm to Friday 19 July at 4.00pm at the Hotel Realm, Barton, Canberra,
ACT, Australia.
The aim of the Conference was to provide those involved or interested in Australian administrative law with the opportunity to discuss contemporary issues,
share practical experiences and consider future developments. The 2019 Conference was hosted by the National Executive of the Institute.

2018 National Administrative Law Conference - Administrative law in the 21st century and beyond
The 2018 National Administrative Law Conference was held on Thursday 27 September at 10.30am to Friday 28 September at 2.00pm at the UNSW Law School, University
of New South Wales, Kensington, Sydney, NSW, Australia.
The aim of the Conference was to provide those involved or interested in Australian administrative law with the opportunity to discuss contemporary issues,
share practical experiences and consider future developments. The 2018 Conference will be hosted by the NSW Chapter of the Institute. The Conference
will be relevant to: government decision-makers; those affected by decisions, and their advisers; members of review bodies, tribunals and courts; policy
developers; public lawyers; academics; and others with an interest in Australian administrative law.

At the 2010 National Administrative Law Forum, held in Sydney on 22 and 23 July 2010, Edward Santow presented a paper titled “Enhanced scrutiny of human
rights: Of parliament, pigs and lipstick”. After the Forum, it was drawn to the attention of the Institute and Mr Santow that a statement in the paper
might be misleading. As a result, Mr Santow has revised the paper. A copy of the revised paper is attached. The revised material can be found at footnote
9 of the paper and in the text in the body of the paper to which footnote 9 relates.
Papers from the 2010 National Forum are published in AIAL Forum Nos 64 and 65,
